Sydney based custom home builder seeking an experienced site manager to manage 8-10 homes on the North Shore, salary up to $140k + super & extras.

- Salary paying between $135K – $140K + super, vehicle package and extras
- Manage between 8 – 10 sites across the North Shore
About the Company
Our client is leading builder specialising in architecturally designed custom homes and renovations across the North Shore region. Operating for over 14 + years, they have built close to 200 custom homes across Sydney and the Gold Coast, and have experienced immense growth in the past 12 months.
Working with an award winning builder, you will have the opportunity to work across innovative designs, and work directly with the Construction Manager and business owners. They are positioning themselves in the market as a specialist in knock down re-builds, and are seeking an experienced Site Manager in the custom building space to join their construction team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a small portfolio 8 – 10 custom builds with values ranging from $800K – $1.2M.
Day to day duties will include:
- Managing the overall performance of each project from commencement to handover
- Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
- Checking material orders
- Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
- Ensure that project milestones are followed and met on time
- Undertake project quality assurance
- Manage defective work
- Daily detailed site diaries
- Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and to specification
- Ensuring trades are complying with Safety Management Systems and WH&S legislation’s
What You Need
- Certificate III in Carpentry (essential) and Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or a valid Builders License
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Site Manager across high-end or custom homes in NSW
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Detailed orientated and a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
- Current drivers license
