For those located in Washington State, the following salary range applies: $81,681.60 – $130,690.56.
Minimum Requirements:
A portfolio must be attached to your application to be considered. Bachelor’s Level Degree Required8 years of experience in Public Relations, Communications or related field Required3 years of leadership experience Required3 to 5 years of experience as a social media manager or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns Required. Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization. Proficiencies in social media management tools and analytics tools. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Job Description:
This role involves managing social media efforts for the Sentara Health Plans division. This position’s primary focus is optimizing engagement through proactive, innovative, and strategic communication strategies. The Social Media Manager will work towards advancing Sentara Health Plans’ reputation as a leading health plan through social media content and curation. The position requires a collaborative, data-driven approach to contribute to an integrated communication team that aims for high reliability and excellent execution.
Position Overview:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement and drive traffic to our social media platforms. Creating and curate engaging content across various social media channels, including but not limited to Meta, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics.
