POSITION
A full-time position for a Truck Driver available in Mirriwinni QLD 4871.
SKILLS
You require a Heavy Vehicle Truck License and the relevant Certificate II or III OR have at least 2-years of relevant experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities involve gathering, unloading, and loading then transporting it to assigned destinations and ensuring that transportation aligns with operational timetables.
DUTIES
The position will require you to perform the following duties:
- Deliver goods from the depot to customers as per relevant schedules.
- Check the condition of goods and prepare relevant documentation as required for transport.
- Operate the fleet in a safe manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.
- Estimate weights to comply with load limitations and ensure safe distribution of weight.
- Supervise loading of goods onto trucks/trailers and the unloading
- Ensure company vehicles are in a clean, tidy and roadworthy manner before and after each journey.
- Cleaning and washing vehicles/trailers on a weekly basis, refueling and performing ordinary maintenance, such as replacing worn tyres and ensuring all components/gauges are in a functional order.
- Complete all required documentation for each consignment and each transport trip.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe workplace, safe loading practices and ensure truck/trailer lockout procedures are adhered to for every vehicle that is loaded/unloaded.
- Adhere to National Road Laws and drive to the conditions.
- Perform other duties as required from time to time.

SALARY
The base salary offered will be $60,000 to $70,000 per annum based on your experience and/or relevant qualifications.
