Our client, a repected State Government Department is seeking experienced Service Delivery Officers to support their shared service team with a focus on payroll administration and accounts payable, utilising SAP.

Commencing immediately, this Government Temporary position will have an initial 3 month term and potential to extend.

The role will see you performing:

  • End-to-end transactional processing for government customers
  • Administrative tasks including, word/excel data entry, letters and reporting
  • Identify and resolve issues and errors within the transactional processing process
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders, and escalate issues as required
  • Work collaboratively within the organisation to ensure a seamless service delivery experience and support other teams
  • Continuously review and improve transactional processing procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for process optimization

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in data processing and financial transactions (desirable)
  • Highly effective and open communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fast and accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and work with policies and procedures
  • Accountability in a results driven environment
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Prior experience using SAP or similar software for payroll
  • Excellent relationship management skills and a great team player
  • Ability to do overtime if needed

As Service Delivery Officer you will enjoy 60% work from home flexibility after initial training, with 2 days each week spent in office at Robina, Gold Coast, across full time hours (72.5 hours per fortnight). The office has parking on site and is conviniently located for bus and train options. Work is normal business hours Monday to Friday. Commencing on A03 $63,527 + Super and leave benefits, on contract for an initial 3 month term as a Temporary Government Contractor, this is an excellent position to take to grow or continue your career in the government sector.
