This is a permanent Senior Full Stack Developer Opportunity with an iconic FinTech business in Brisbane
Halcyon Knights have partnered with our Brisbane based client exclusively to recruit a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a scaling team on a Permanent basis. Our client is a an iconic Australian brand in the Fintech industry, with a reptuable history of over 20 years, and offices across Australia. The work environment is focussed on building and developing our client’s next generation of tools to support business optimisation, working with the latest microsoft technologies in the .Net, Javascript and Cloud space. This role will report to the Software development manager, working in a full-stack capacity across a variety of green-field projects focussed on systems integration, systems modernisation and technological uplift. As a senior member you will be instrumental in improving the applications, tools and methods they use to develop, deploy and manage their software environment, and also instrumental in liasing with the business to solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform enhancements and maintenance on our clients technology architecture to support critical business processes
- Full Stack development – even split between back and front-end development, although our client is willing to leverage your strengths in either direction
- Developing test cases and unit tests to ensure high quality code is delivered
- Provide technical insight and assist in the development and review of strategies and designs
- Performing investigative analysis on existing systems in order to baseline current state
- Assist with the development of suitable methodologies, standards, and principles
- Identify potential areas of process improvement (in the business and in the project), and raise these for discussion
Requirements
- 5 + years Full Stack Development experience with Web applications
- Strong experience in the .Net landscape, including .Net core and RESTful APIs
- Strong experience in Javascript development, ideally modern framework experience in either Angular OR React
- CI/CD deployment and release management (Azure DevOps/TeamCity/Octopus Deploy)
- Understanding of software architecture, development frameworks and tool sets
- Strong SQL skills, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures (MS SQL Server experience highly desirable)
- Exposure to continuous integration platforms and tools (Azure)
- Ideally some Knowledge of micro-services architecture and domain driven design is an advantage
- Experience with Azure DevOps, SOAP/REST API, Web API
- Strong analysis, problem solving and communication
- Experience with cloud based development (Azure or AWS)
