Part Time Accounts Payable Officer job in Australia.
A sought after and exciting, part time-hybrid opportunity now exists, to work for this respectable organisation located conveniently in Carrum Downs.Offering a part time, 30 – 32 hours per week – across 5 days, this is a temporary assignment to commence early in the New Year (January 2025) for approximately 12 weeks, strong possibility for extension.
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will report through to the Finance Manager and be a part of a friendly finance team. This role requires you to work 5 days per week, approximately 5 – 6 hours per day. WFH is also available – up to 3 days per week.
The role:
- Maintain relationships with all suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Processing of invoices – including coding, approval and purchase number process
- Managing supplier payments within agreed timeframe
- Manage company e-cards and reimbursements
- Supplier reconciliations – rectify discrepancies
- Apply all GST codes correctly
- Responsible for all month-end reporting
About you:
- Proven experience in a similar role – strong focus on Accounts Payable
- Strong skills building relationships – excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously, methodically and prioritise work efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Cooperative – demonstrate team behaviours and professional relationships
