.About the Job:
- Assist the Financial Controller and Accountant following sound accounting practices and procedures.
- Support the clerical routines within the Administration Department
- Financial recording and reporting, as directed.
- Receipt cash sales, customer invoices, debtors’ payments, and banking, if required.
- Reconcile and Process Daily Bank Statements
- Carry out various general ledger reconciliations, as directed.
- Assist in stock management and processing
- Being a principal contact between the sales staff and customers for general inquiries
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to deal with multiple bank reconciliations daily.
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable with a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail with fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Proficient in computer operations, including accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Professional and confident telephone manner, with excellent customer and supplier relationship management.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Valid full driver’s licence required.
