Job Description
Capital Staffing Solutions is looking for ongoing General Labour – Forklift Operators! As a General Labour – Forklift Operator you are responsible for driving a pallet jack, tow motor/tugger and picking up the recyclable materials.
Some specific duties of a General Labour – Forklift Operators may include:
- Continuously keeping all areas in the plant neat by driving a pallet jack, tow motor/tugger around, and picking up the recyclable materials.
- Continuously keeping the compactor area clean and clear off any type of debris.
In addition to physical stamina and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions, a General Labour – Forklift Operator should have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. They should also be able to follow safety protocols and have a basic understanding of recycling and environmental issues.

Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Two weeks on a DAY shift (start time 6:15 am), $21.17/HR
- Two weeks on an AFTERNOON shift (start time 5:30 pm), $22.18/HR
Location: Cambridge, ON
Job Duties:
- Continuously keeping all areas in the plant neat by driving a pallet jack, tow motor/tugger around, and picking up the recyclable materials.
- Continuously keeping the compactor area clean and clear off any type of debris.
Requirements:
- Ability to work 8 – 10 hours shifts and some weekends when required
- Forklift and Tow motor/Tugger experience is an asset however, we will train and certify the right candidate
- Must be able to work in a high-traffic environment
- Must be able to lift between 20 – 50lbs.
- Must have a G2 or G License
