Digital Urban Designer / 3D Visualiser Join Canterbury-Bankstown Council | Bring Urban Design to Life with 3D Modelling & GIS Location: Canterbury-Bankstown, NSW
About the Role
Canterbury-Bankstown Council is looking for a Digital Urban Designer / 3D Visualiser to join the City Strategy and Design Unit. In this role, you will:
- Maintain and enhance the Canterbury-Bankstown digital 3D model
- Create high-quality 3D visualisations and GIS analyses to support strategic city projects
- Provide expert urban design and digital modelling support to inform master plans and planning controls
- Collaborate with urban designers, architects, and planners to produce impactful visual materials
- Research and implement cutting-edge technologies in 3D modelling and urban design
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Urban Design, GIS, or a related field
- Minimum four years’ experience in 3D modelling, digital visualisation, and urban design
- Strong proficiency in 3D, GIS, and drafting software such as Terra Explorer, Autodesk 3D Max, Giraffe, SketchUp, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
Key Skills:
- Ability to create visually engaging 3D models and GIS analyses
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
