  • Attractive VPS 6 salary between $129,379 – $173,138 + superannuation

What does the business unit do?

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.

Data, Digital and Insights (DDI) focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. The specialist groups within DDI consist of Technology Solutions and Evidence and Insights.

Technology Solutions explores and employs modern technology to enable the department’s business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services.

Evidence and Insights is responsible for providing end-to-end evidence-based policy support to the Department of Justice and Community Safety, and the reporting of data and research to the Victorian public through the Crime Statistics Agency and the National Coronial Information System.

What will the role do?

Primarily the CRM Developer role is responsible for providing development and consulting support in Microsoft Dynamics 365; providing solutions architecture and business as usual support and fixes for existing Dynamics 365 applications; and acting as the technical lead between the business units, stakeholders and other delivery teams as necessary.

What skills should a CRM Developer have?

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365, including workflows and business process flows, experience with Power Apps, Flow, CDS, Power Platform, PowerBI, SharePoint, Exchange and Azure, experience developing and configuring plug-ins, developing complex MS Visual Studio, ASP .Net, C#, HTML5, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks applications and APIs, experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Good analytical skills combined with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written) to be able to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced working with small business teams in an Agile framework.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology would be desirable.
  • Relevant Microsoft and other ICT Industry Certifications are desirable.
