Are you looking for a part time position that can offer you flexibility around school, day-care, study or a similar lifestyle need? We have an opportunity for Truck drivers to work part time hours Monday – Friday. This opportunity is available to both experienced Truck drivers and also licenced drivers looking to start their truck driving career.
About your new role – Asphalt Truck Driver
You will be working within the Brisbane City Council, Asphalt and Aggregates branch. As a truck driver you will travel to locations across Brisbane working closely with the Asphalt crews, picking up and dropping off asphalt.
- Driving Tipper Truck.
- Pre-Start checks.
- General operation in varied traffic conditions
- Reversing, driving up and down steep inclines and vehicle cleaning and inspection to fulfil your role.
- Vehicle cleaning and inspection.
What you will need
We are looking for an experienced truck driver with a strong sense of teamwork.
- HR Class drivers’ licence.
- Work safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- Tipping experience is preferred (but not essential).
