About us:
Regional pump manufacturing and rental company with an active growth plan is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Specialist, responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable aging for customers by receiving and posting incoming customer payments and adjustments. Also, this role will assist with month-end and year-end closings, participate in general accounting clerical duties such as filing, communication with external and internal customers, and mailing out correspondence. The candidate will follow established procedures for processing receivables.
Holland Pump is backed by XPV Water Partners, a private equity firm with investment capital from some of the top institutional investors in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
Experience should include:
- Process high-volume of customer payments.
- Reconcile and solve payments discrepancies.
- Post revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local depository accounts.
- Process customer refunds, credit memos, chargebacks, and adjustments.
- Answer phone and e-mail inquiries from customers and branches in a timely and professional manner.
- Research payment issues and respond to all inquiries and discrepancies.
Other experience valued:
- Strong overall A/R skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver assignments on time
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess the ability to deal with customers and company personnel at all levels
- General Ledger, and journal entry knowledge
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software; specifically, Excel and Word
- At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience
- Valid Florida driver’s license, drug, and background clearance
