Waste is transported to our Material Recovery Facility ( MRF ) where the material is sorted and separated for further processing. Recovered materials include sand, bricks and concrete, wood / timber, steel and light plastics and paper that are then turned into road base, drainage aggregate, biomass / biofuel and scrap steel. WCW are also licenced to accept problematic waste such as asbestos and tyres.
