Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machine to manufacture parts to blueprints specification. • Measure dimension of finished workpiece to ensure conformance to specification, using precision measuring instruments, template, and fixtures. • Mount, install, align, and secure tools, and attachments, fixtures, and workpiece on machine, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. • Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, and adjust/reprogram controls to meet varying needs of the fabrication process. • Verified machine settings by measuring position, first run part, and sample work pieces. • Maintain a safe work environment, while producing excellent quality at a highly efficient and productivity rate. • Complete all required documentation, logs, reports, and records accurately and send to supervisor at the end of each day.
