The basic salary package of a Waitress is AED 2,000 per month.

Job Duties of a Waitress

Some of the significant duties of a Waitress are the following.

1. Welcome customers as they enter the restaurant and seat them at their tables.
2. Provide menus and answer any queries customers may have about the menu or restaurant.
3. Take customer orders, using a POS system or writing them down, and communicate the order with the kitchen staff.
4. Serve food and drinks to consumers once they are ready.
5. Check on customers throughout their meals to ensure they are happy with their food and drinks.
6. Clear dirty dishes and glasses from tables as customers finish their meals.
7. Process customer payments, including cash, credit card, or gift card payments.
8. Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the restaurant’s offerings.
9. Assist other waitstaff with their tables and help with other tasks as required.
10. Follow restaurant policies and strategies for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.
11. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure that orders are correct and prepared quickly.
12. Work efficiently during busy times to guarantee that customers are served promptly.
13. Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor even in stressful or challenging situations.
14. Upsell menu items to customers to boost sales and revenue for the restaurant.
15. Attend training sessions and staff gatherings to stay up-to-date on menu changes, restaurant policies, and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

• 3 years of experience as Waitress is required.
• Graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
