The basic salary package of a Waiter is AED 1,500 – 2,000 per month.
Job Duties of a Waiter
Some of the basic duties of a Waiter are the following.
- Greet customers and present menus to deliver excellent customer service
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, and communicate any exceptional requests to the kitchen
- Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality presentation standards
- Prepare and set up tables with proper tableware, linens, and decorations as necessary
- Assist customers with menu selection, and provide guidance based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Monitor tables and react promptly to customer requests or needs, including refilling drinks and condiments
- Process customer payments accurately and securely, and provide all financial transactions are recorded correctly
- Work with other staff fellows to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, including bussing tables and cleaning up after service
- Follow health and safety restrictions and guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages and maintaining clean and sanitary work conditions
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as needed to sustain and improve service quality and efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2 years of experience is a must.
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
