The salary package offered by the corporation for a Staff Nurse is SGD 1,900 – 2,500 per month.
Role of a Staff Nurse
Some of the important tasks of a Staff Nurse are the following.
- Assess patient health status and specify patient care needs.
- Develop and execute patient care plans and provide nursing care according to physician orders and established criteria of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as specified by a physician or nurse practitioner.
- Monitor and record patient important signs and medical information in electronic medical documents.
- Educate patients and their relatives about illness, injury, and disease prevention, as well as treatments and medications.
- Team with physicians and other healthcare specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and take suitable action, including reporting changes to the physician and providing emergency care if required.
- Maintain a safe and clean working atmosphere by complying with procedures, rules, and restrictions.
- Document and maintain proper medical records and patient data.
- Stick to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infectious illnesses.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a staff nurse.
- Prof’l License holder.
- No more than 2 years of work gap.
