Salary
The salary package offered by the firm for a Staff Nurse is SGD 1,400 – 2,000 per month.
Job Duties of a Staff Nurse
Some of the essential tasks of a Staff Nurse are the following.
- Assessing patients: Conducting initial patient assessments, including taking essential signs, reviewing medical history, and performing physical exams.
- Administering medication: Administering medications as specified by the doctor or medical practitioner.
- Providing wound care: Providing wound care and dressing shifts, as well as monitoring for signs of infection.
- Assisting with diagnostic tests: Assisting with diagnostic tests such as blood tests, x-rays, and other procedures.
- Documenting patient information: Documenting patient information, including important signs, medications administered, and other pertinent details.
- Developing care plans: Creating and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educating patients and families: Educating patients and their relatives about their requirements, medications, and treatment plans.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress: Monitoring and evaluating patient improvement and making adjustments to care plans as required.
- Responding to emergencies: Responding to emergencies, including performing CPR and other life-saving efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
- 2 years of working experience as Staff Nurse is demanded.
- Prof’l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof’l License Exam).
- Valid nursing board registration.
- Should be working on a hospital set up with a 50-bed capacity.
- No more than 2 years of work gap.
