A unique and exciting opportunity currently exists within the Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Officer (CO) for a talented senior administrator. Reporting to the Head of Executive Services, but directly tasked by the CEO and CO, the Senior Coordinator will provide a high level of coordination support and advice to the CEO and CO. Working closely with Government Liaison and the Executive Assistants to the CEO and CO, the role will provide support in the coordination of the flow of information, correspondence and ad hoc requests for the CEO and CO, as well as providing administrative and process support for the Secondment Model arrangements as required.This position operates within a complex and highly sensitive environment and the position must ensure that appropriate confidentiality and discretion is applied at all times.

To be the successful candidate you must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in public sector administration, business or other relevant discipline.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills coupled with proficiency in preparing high level and complex written reports within deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in government policy, administration or other relevant area, including working with and providing advice at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing sensitive and high-risk activities within a large and complex organisation.
  • Sound organisational and planning skills with the ability to build and improve systems, processed and quality assurance mechanisms.
  • Client and relationship management skills including demonstrated ability to consult, network and liaise senior with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work confidently and professionally in a high-pressured environment.
  • Initiative and strong analytical skills that support effective problem solving and decision making.
