Senior CNC Programmer job in Singapore
Job Description
- Utilize CAM functions to generate CNC Fanuc programs.
- Interpret technical drawings and review 3D CAD designs.
- Analyze designs to determine the best sequence of machining steps.
- Follow the master parameter template to decide speeds, feeds, and fixtures to be used.
- Request CAD files from engineers.
- Compare 3D model dimensions with hard copy drawings to identify any discrepancies.
- Ensure the availability of cutting tools and highlight any needs for purchase to superiors.
- Optimize programs to ensure low cycle times and minimize tool wear.
- Provide training, advice, and mentorship to junior and less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Minimum Higher Nitec/Diploma in any Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with CAM software (Master Cam 2023).
- Knowledge and experience with CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Team player capable of working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
