Job Title: Security Helpdesk Administrator

Reports to: Senior Manager, Security Engineering

Location: Goleta

The Role

Deckers Brands is looking for a talented individual to join our Information Security Team. The Security Helpdesk is the first line of support for end-user technical support related to Deckers Brands Information Security Ecosystem.

This individual will assist with reviewing tickets assigned to the security engineering team. The role will work closely with other Deckers Technology teams such as Security Operations, GRC, IT operations, and end-users.

This role is for a positive, outgoing individual with working knowledge of networks, servers, endpoint, Software, TCP/IP and with a desire to learn security. Troubleshooting and detail-oriented skills are a must for a successful candidate.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Review and resolve ticket in ServiceNow Assigned to the team
  • Create, access, and deploy rules in security devices.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint problems related to security software.
  • Work closely with security vendors and the engineering team as an escalation path.
  • Analyze and assess incidents and escalate to security resources or appropriate internal personnel for additional assistance, in accordance with Triage and Incident Response procedures.
  • Provide our Employees and Partners with excellent Remote Technical Support
  • Provide tailored troubleshooting, configuration guidance, and best practices.
  • Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, and resolved with timely follow-ups with thorough documentation of all the troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
  • Ensure that every customer interaction with Information Security is exceptional
  • Proactively manage a queue of support tickets
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and quickly resolve technical issues via phone and email
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with customers and work to establish a positive rapport during each interaction
  • Availability to work extended hours, as needed.
  • As time permits support engineering team with other tasks

Who You Are

-Detail oriented individual with experience in helpdesk support and a desire to learn more about Information Security.

-Great communication skills and with a focus in customer service.

-Great attitude and strong work ethic

-Ability to work remote

  • A positive outgoing individual, with two to three years helpdesk experience or a 4 year degree in Computer Science.
  • A strong desire to learn, try new things, take chances, and push yourself outside your comfort zone.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills of in-depth IT and Security issues; ability to learn new technologies in-depth; work and solve problems independently while presenting confidence & professionalism.
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic

$90,000 – $105,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
