Job Description
About the role
To oversee control room operations. Monitor CCTV and communicate with roving security officers to address issues relating to security breaches, alarms and other situations. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Observe control operations
- Monitor building operations
- Respond to and direct roving security officers to investigate situations observed by or reported to control room
- Operate and monitor security control panel alarms, and related security equipment to provide area and visitor surveillance
- Maintain logs and record occurrences, completes necessary paperwork, and may use computer terminal to input and retrieve data
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Experiences
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Security Licence as per individual state requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining alert and focused on task
- Customer centric approach
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
