Job Description
About the role
This role is primarily responsible for overseeing control room operations. Monitor CCTV and communicate with roving security officers to address issues relating to security breaches, alarms and other situations. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Check security equipment is in working order
- Report all alarms and complete diary log
- Action breach situations appropriately
- Use computerised access control systems as required
- Maintain focus and observe the activities associated with asset protection
- Use appropriate methods of communication (eg radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Experience
- Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate
- NSW Security Licence
- Knowledge of control room operating systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate and technically savvy
