THE ROLE
I have partnered with an exciting client of mine who are on an exciting growth trajectory. This role will be joining a new development team to work across a suite of aligned new products for the company, working with a large application that extends Ruby on Rails in new innovative ways.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a large, mature Ruby on Rails application
- Contribute to planning and delivery of a new Ruby on Rails application and other software platforms
- Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Develop and maintain complex, multi-schema PostreSQL databases
- Design, implement and maintain GRPC and REST APIS
SKILLS
- 2 + years Ruby on Rails in commercial environment
- PostgreSQL
- Proficient knowledge of web application architecture
- Experience with GraphQL and/or GRPC/Protobuf
- AWS, Lambda, API Gateway
