Job Description
About the role
This role is primarily responsible for conducting regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities. To identify and report damage and potential security risks. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Patrol assigned area including garages and other parking areas, checks for suspicious occurrences and enforces parking rules and regulations
- Open and close facility, ensuring that users have left the premises. Reports security and general maintenance problems to the proper authorities
- Maintain security and safety for assigned area
- Maintain working knowledge of the locations of various departments, buildings, access routes and admitting requirements
- Maintain logs and records of occurrences, complete necessary paperwork and use computer terminal to input and retrieve data
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Certificate II in Security Operations and current first aid certificate
- NSW Security Licence
- Customer centric approach
- Demonstrated ability to remain alert and focused on the task
- Ability to work under pressure and be flexible and adaptable
