Job Description
- Develops regional human resource policies and procedures, compensation and benefits
program to achieve external competitiveness and internal equity in South-East Asia &
Oceanic (SEO) region.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with relevant employment legislation and provisions in
respective countries in SEO Region.
- Reviews HR functions throughout the SEO region, including responsibility for policies on
recruitment, industrial relations, succession planning, performance appraisals, staff
promotions, benefits and compensation.
- Periodically review & update region’s Employees Handbook.
- Periodically review and update region’s Guidebook on Job Descriptions.
- Implement & conduct effective learning & development and training programs.
- Identify market trends and recommends solutions to improve performance, retention and
employee engagement.
- Risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate risks in the region.
- Checks business contracts and recommends changes or amendments to mitigate risk
exposures and liabilities.
- Takes lead in Occupational Safety & Health activities in the region.
- Reviews and initiates CSR, ESG and Sustainability activities in the region.
- Ensures regional governance and internal controls in the region.
- Ensures the implementation & conduct of compliance courses in Ethics and Code of Conduct
within companies Group.
- Reviews on severity of litigation cases in SEO region and claims settlement.
- Liaises closely with corporate departments in Japan-HQ, other Regional HQs and PICs in SEO
countries on regional governance matters, legal matters, surveys, insurance, internal
controls, security, safety, sustainability programs, whistleblowing system and any others.
- Prepares Companys Global Website and Global i-Net for activities and updates pertaining to SEO
Region.
- Any other HR and Admin projects as assigned.
Qualifications:-
- Minimum 10 years relevant regional experience in related profession
- Degree in HR Management or Business Administration
- Good knowledge of local legislations relating to labour and industrial relations
- Familiar with HRM systems
- Budgeting Skills
- Microsoft Office Applications
