Working Days & Hours: Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm (12pm-1pm: Lunch period)

Job Description
- Conceptualize in designing of project drawings specializing in ceramic tiles presentation
- To design and adjust color of the new project
- Coordinate with customers about developing new product if needed
- Report the daily status to HOD on R&D daily morning meeting
- Do all other kind of design works such as carton design, Logo design, catalog design, etc. when necessary as per superior/HOD’s instruction or request
- Assist sales personnel in advising clients on product information, tiling presentation and attend to customers’ enquiry when necessary
- Organize the working files and make sure all are saved into the relevant hard drive after the product design is completed
- Study or organize the final product (Master sample) and make sure the tile has the date and file name
- Prepare sample requested by sales and marketing department
- Coordinate with other R&D technician/personnel
- Do research and lab testing to suit the sample or color assignment following project identification and gathering information for developing new products
- Follow work introduction and specification for all test method
- Maintain 5S and upkeep cleanliness of workplace (R&D room, lab’s equipment & surroundings)
- Strictly follow workplace safety procedures and guide other colleagues, wear PPE set or other safety equipment when necessary
- Adhere to Company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System & ISO 14001 Environmental System and Procedures at all times
- Receive and act on any other instructions as and when assigned from immediate superior or the Management
Job requirement
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position or with the following relevant field of study
- At least Professional Certificate /Diploma /Degree in Interior Design and equivalent
- Fair command in English & Bahasa Melayu (both written & oral)
- Must be familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Autocad or other relevant software
- Creative, resourceful with excellent execution & design skills
- Able to work as part of team and independently to meet deadline
- Good interpersonal / communication skills
- High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work for an extended period of time when necessary
- Able to work independently as well as being a team-plater with strong commitment to department harmony
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job
