We are looking for a Product Designer
About company
I am currently working with a fast-growing pre-seed startup that are managed by a founding team who was from ex-Meta, Twitter, AWS, Stripe and etc. You will be the 1st Product Designer. Open to hiring candidates who are currently based in Singapore or US.
In Singapore office, hybrid working arrangement or 100% in office. In US, remote working.
About job
– Specialize in one of our core product areas and work closely with engineers and product managers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for that product
– Develop and expand product design systems
– Sometimes work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical deliverables
– Focus on what you do best – whether that’s sketches, wireframes, prototypes, designs, or code-and you’ll have the opportunity to sharpen the skills you’re looking to develop
– Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the product, and project teams
skills and requirements
– Min 4 years of experience
– Can reduce complex challenges down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use
– Has experience designing for both business and consumer-focused products
– Has a high quality bar, attention to detail, and helps teams deliver high quality polished experiences
– Skilled in explaining their work, process, and decisions to
cross-functional stakeholders and who craves feedback to help produce the best work
– An expert in either UI, UX, or visual design, but is skilled in
more disciplines across product design
– Thinks in systems and is able to extrapolate & extend shared patterns and behaviors
– Prefer candidates from FAANG or top tech product based startup/company
