The salary package offered by the firm is SGD 2,660 – 3160 per month
Role of a Pharmacist
- Dispensing medication: Pharmacists are responsible for preparing and dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications to patients. They ensure that the medications are safe, effective, and appropriate for the patient’s condition.
- Checking for drug interactions: Pharmacists must check for possible drug interactions and make sure that patients are not taking medications that may cause harmful interactions.
- Counseling patients: Pharmacists counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, timing, and possible side effects. They also provide advice on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise, that can improve patients’ health.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals: Pharmacists work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Managing inventory: Pharmacists are responsible for managing medication inventory, ordering and stocking medications, and ensuring that medications are stored and handled appropriately.
- Conducting medication therapy management: Pharmacists monitor patients’ medication regimens and make recommendations for changes or adjustments to optimize therapy.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations: Pharmacists must comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the dispensing and handling of medications
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum of 6 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Pharmacy.
