Job Duties of a Nurse

  1. Monitoring patients: Nurses are responsible for monitoring patients’ vital signs and ensuring that they are stable and comfortable. They may also administer medications and assist with medical procedures.
  2. Providing patient care: Nurses provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. They may also assist with mobility and hygiene needs.
  3. Recording and maintaining patient information: Nurses document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans. They may also maintain medical records and update patient charts.
  4. Educating patients: Nurses provide patients with information on their condition, treatment options, and how to manage their symptoms. They may also provide education on healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention.
  5. Collaborating with healthcare professionals: Nurses work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
  6. Advocating for patients: Nurses act as patient advocates, ensuring that their patients’ needs are met and that they receive appropriate care.
  7. Maintaining a safe and clean environment: Nurses are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe patient environment. They may also be responsible for sterilizing equipment and supplies.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience.
  • Candidates must be a Prof’l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof’f License Exam) holer.
  • Graduate of BS Nursing, with valid PRC License, with PRC rating.
