Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our UK-based software and technology integration firm. As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for understanding project requirements, coding, unit testing, mentoring other team members, and contributing to technical design. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Product team, BA Team, and Testing team, to develop innovative solutions and deliver high-quality .NET applications.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to analyze and understand project requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of the desired functionality and user experience.
- Coding: Develop efficient, reliable, and scalable .NET applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#.NET. Implement back-end components and features to meet project requirements.
- Unit Testing: Write and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and stability of the .NET applications. Identify and fix any defects or issues discovered during the testing phase.
- Mentoring Other Team Members: Share your expertise and knowledge of .NET development with other team members. Provide guidance and support to junior developers, helping them improve their skills and understanding of .NET.
- Contribution to Technical Design: Collaborate with the technical team to contribute to the overall architecture and technical design of .NET applications. Participate in discussions and provide valuable insights and suggestions to enhance the performance and scalability of the applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC using C#.NET with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with SQL Server with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Enterprise products.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience in the education sector is a plus (but not a requirement).
