Who we are
The publishing world is facing multiple structural challenges that urgently need to be improved. So, we are leveraging DX to take a new approach to solving structural issues in the publishing industry from a new angle and aim to reduce the book return rate to make the entire supply chain in the industry more efficient. By utilizing a variety of data from the publishing industry in a comprehensive, cross-sectional, and longitudinal manner, and by continuously evolving our services using an “AI model” that fits the sales characteristics of each title, we aim to achieve our main goal which is the optimization of the entire industry supply chain.
We promote the use of our new technology among publishers, bookstores, sales companies, and other sectors in the publishing industry to transform and make the entire publishing distribution system more sustainable by creating and maintaining a more comfortable reading environment where people can encounter as many appealing publications as possible.
Through utilizing RFID, so-called IC tags, which have proven highly effective in the apparel distribution industry, and the use of various data collected from RFID, we are establishing and operating a system that enables participants to improve the efficiency of inventory management, individually manage the inventory and diversify the sales conditions of books and magazines. We are also creating a book recommendation service for customers and a system that includes the function to prevent shoplifting at bookstores in order to help bookstores solve issues related to their operation and management.
Through these innovative technologies, we contribute not only to solving the challenges facing the Japanese publishing industry but also to creating a sustainable society.

Therefore, you will be expected to be engineer-driven and proactive in making system improvements and proposals.
As an MLOps Engineer, you will
- Be working with our AI engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and operate machine learning models to transform the industry into an AI-driven one by fully utilizing our managed services
- Be working on building pipelines to deploy machine learning models more quickly and stably, and building applications and infrastructure to handle data efficiently
- Develop and build machine learning infrastructure and models that would help make AI R&D engineers and data scientists work more efficient

Minimum Requirements
- Experience in web service or application development
- Experience in developing system infrastructure for projects related to AI and data utilization
- Understanding of data processing, AI algorithm processing pipeline, and computing cost
- Experience in designing and developing MLOps systems for AI models or data management
- Experience in cloud computing such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience in API design and development
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in building machine learning services and data infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of machine learning/statistics
- Experience in developing and operating real-world services using machine learning
- Good knowledge of and strong interest in the latest trends in the machine-learning field

Annual Salary: 7M ~ 10M The amount will be determined upon consultation, taking experience and other factors into consideration
Hours: 9:00～17:30 (Break time: 1hour)
