Salary Package
The salary package offered by the company is USD 26 per hour.
Role of a Medical Technologist
- Collecting and analyzing samples: Medical technologists collect and analyze samples of blood, urine, and other body fluids, as well as tissues and cells, to detect abnormalities and diagnose diseases.
- Operating laboratory equipment: Medical technologists operate complex laboratory equipment, such as microscopes, analyzers, and cell counters, to perform tests and obtain accurate results.
- Conducting tests: Medical technologists conduct a wide variety of tests, including blood tests, microbiological cultures, chemical analyses, and immunological assays, among others.
- Analyzing and interpreting results: Medical technologists analyze and interpret test results, looking for signs of disease, infection, or abnormalities.
- Maintaining laboratory records: Medical technologists maintain detailed and accurate records of laboratory test results, including test procedures, results, and interpretations.
- Quality control: Medical technologists are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory test results by performing quality control measures and ensuring that laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
- Communicating results: Medical technologists communicate laboratory test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing information that is critical to the diagnosis and treatment of patients
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelors’s Degree in others or similar fields.
- Bachelor of science in medical technology.
