The salary package offered by the company is NZD 27 – 28 per hour.
Role of a Maintenance Technician
- Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment: Maintenance technicians are responsible for inspecting equipment and identifying any issues or potential problems. They may also troubleshoot equipment when issues arise to determine the cause and find solutions.
- Performing routine maintenance: Maintenance technicians regularly perform preventative maintenance on equipment, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and calibration checks, to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Repairing equipment: Maintenance technicians repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged parts of equipment to restore functionality.
- Maintaining records: Maintenance technicians keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work they perform, as well as any parts or equipment that are replaced.
- Responding to emergency situations: Maintenance technicians may be required to respond to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment breakdowns, to resolve issues and minimize downtime quickly.
- Maintaining a safe work environment: Maintenance technicians ensure that all work is performed safely and according to established safety guidelines, and report any safety hazards to their supervisor.
- Communicating with other team members: Maintenance technicians work closely with other team members, including engineers, production workers, and management, to ensure that equipment and machinery are running smoothly and to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Engineering.
- With a valid passport and fully vaccinated.
