Job Duties of a Machine Operator
Some of the fundamental duties of a Machine Operator are the following.
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in production or manufacturing procedures.
- Reading and analyzing technical manuals and blueprints to ensure proper operation of machinery.
- Monitoring machinery and equipment during operation to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.
- Performing frequent maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to guarantee optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy, and making adjustments to the production process as needed.
- Maintaining precise production and inventory records, including tracking materials used and products produced.
- Collaborating with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to assure production goals are met.
- Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Continuously monitoring production processes to recognize opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Participating in proceeding training and professional development to stay current on new technologies and improvements in the field
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is needed.
- High school certificate.
- Males are preferred for this job.
