Role of a Machine Operator

- Setting up machinery: The machine operator must set up machinery before the start of a production run, including adjusting settings, installing molds, and ensuring that all security protocols are in place.
- Operating machinery: The machine operator must operate machinery during the production run, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.
- Monitoring production: The machine operator must monitor the production process, checking for flaws, maintaining machinery performance, and making adjustments as required.
- Performing routine maintenance: The machine operator must perform regular care on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as required.
- Troubleshooting issues: The machine operator must troubleshoot machinery issues, identifying and addressing problems such as malfunctions, breakdowns, and mechanical failures.
- Maintaining production records: The machine operator must maintain accurate production records, including data on presentation rates, quality metrics, and machinery maintenance.
- Cooperating with other departments: The machine operator must collaborate with other branches, such as engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure that production processes are optimized and that quality standards are met.
- Following safety protocols: The machine operator must follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal defensive equipment (PPE), confirming that machinery is properly guarded, and following procedures when working on machinery.
