We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Lead Analyst, AML/ KYC/ Prevention to join our Operations Utilities team. This role is located in Singapore.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Prepares client profiles for new clients and existing clients. Conducts periodic reviews of client profiles. Ensures due diligence when onboarding new clients. Researches and gathers information to prepare KYC records.
  • Leverages online tools, independent research or collaborates directly with the relationship manager or Middle Office teams. Amends existing client profiles when needed. Assists with administrative tasks when applicable. Conducts QSS real time scans to check information in the client profile and verify ownership against the ChoicePoint database.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders for information gathering purposes, as needed. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team goals.
  • Performs due diligence to ensure accuracy of information. Uses strong communication skills to engage in challenging conversations with internal stakeholders and complex external clients in order to support an accurate data-gathering process and resolve any open issues.
  • Provides constant feedback to staff and Line of Business partners on a variety of profiles that have been flagged and escalated for additional review through real time screening scans or escalated OFAC Sanctions alerts received on transactional reviews.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced KYC Center of Excellence staff. Allocates work appropriately, as needed. No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Helps develop team objectives and drive weekly, monthly and annual team goals.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5+ years of total KYC experience with non-retail clientele (i.e. institutional business lines) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with funds, banks and trusts customer types is favorable.
