Role of a Laboratory Technician

  1. Assisting with food preparation, such as cutting, chopping, and peeling ingredients.
  2. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and work surfaces.
  3. Setting up and restocking kitchen stations with ingredients and supplies.
  4. Washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, and storing them appropriately.
  5. Assisting with the plating and presentation of dishes.
  6. Receiving and storing food deliveries and ensuring proper food storage.
  7. Helping with kitchen inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and rotating food items as needed.
  8. Assisting with kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
  9. Following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and complying with health and safety regulations.
  10. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
