IT Support Engineer
The salary package offered by the firm is $5,000-7,000 per month.
Role of an IT Support Engineer
- Helpdesk Support: Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in person. This includes troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as providing guidance and training to end-users.
- Hardware and software maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and repair of computer systems and peripherals, including hardware and software installation, updates, and patches.
- Network management: Ensuring network availability, security, and performance, monitoring network usage, and providing support for network-related issues.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all technical issues, support requests, and solutions provided.
- Information security: Implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
- Disaster recovery and business continuity: Developing and implementing plans to ensure the recovery of critical systems and data in the event of a disaster or other disruptive event.
- Training and knowledge transfer: Providing training and guidance to end-users, as well as sharing technical knowledge with other members of the IT support team.
- Diploma or Degree in IT.
- Ability in execution and design for Hyper-V environment preferred.
- Must be willing to work onsite.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Sharepoint, Exchange, and Microsoft Teams is a clear advantage.
