The salary package offered by the enterprise for an ICU Nurse is SAR 3,000 – 6,000 per month.

Job Duties of an ICU Nurse

Some of the essential tasks of an ICU Nurse are the following.

1. Monitor patients in the ICU and assess their condition on a routine basis, including important signs, mental status, and overall well-being.
2. Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as defined by the physician, and monitor the patient’s response to these interventions.
3. Use advanced medical equipment and technology to observe and support the patient’s breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, and other crucial functions.
4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists, to develop and implement a complete treatment plan for each patient.
5. Communicate with patients and their families about their condition and provide emotional aid as required.
6. Document all patient assessments, interventions, and results in a clear and concise manner, and maintain accurate medical records.
7. Assist in procedures and surgeries conducted in the ICU, including intubation, mechanical ventilation, and hemodialysis.
8. Provide education to patients and their relatives about the patient’s condition, treatment choices, and how to manage their care at home.
9. Monitor and manage the ICU setting, including infection control and security protocols.
10. Participate in resuming education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the new advances in critical care nursing practice.

Requirements

• Prof’l License (Passed Board/Bar/Prof’l License Exam) holder.
• 2 years of working experience as an ICU Nurse.
