Job Description:
Our client is hiring Health Science Teachers to create effective and stimulating learner-centered opportunities for learning through high quality instruction that enables the development and progression of all students. To have enthusiasm for the subject matter that inspires others to have a lifelong love of learning and the motivation, skills and attitudes to be productive citizens contributing positively to the development of the country. To comprehend and implement the Health Science Curriculum, using skills-based learning in student-centered classroom environment.
- Comply with Policies, Programs and Procedures as per General Framework and take responsibility for any aspect that they are involved in
- Health Science Teachers are responsible for the successful class delivery, of the Health Science program as well as for the continuous improvement of the teaching and learning materials and the provision of support to students.
- Teachers Implement the Health Education curriculum
- Teachers have to communicate and collaborate with fellow teachers and to liaise with school principals and the program manager to schedule or adjust the schedule of their classes and to assess, analyze, evaluate and improve program outcomes
- The Health Science teacher will also have to stay up to date with the newest information in their field, thus improving knowledge of principles and practices of health education; program planning and development; and program evaluation methods.
- Experience with Advanced Placement Courses and Exams
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Curriculum Developer
- Manage the online teaching and learning using apps like MS Teams, Zoom, google docs, etc.
- Seek continuous professional development opportunities in Health Sciences
- Exercise leadership by taking personal responsibility for monitoring and assessing the progress of all learners
- Use a range of strategies to promote positive relationships, cooperation, and purposeful learning in the classroom
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Health Science, Life Science, Biology or Nursing
- Master Degree and in Nursing preferred
- Teaching Certificate/Diploma- preferred
- Internationally recognized Trainer and Assessor Qualification preferred
- Appropriate vocational and/or industry experience
- Excellent English skills and could pass an IELTS test at level 7
Required Experience:
- 3 years teaching experience in a reputable institute/school
- 5 years of practical/clinical experience or a combination of teaching and practical/clinical experience
- Be up to date with the newest information in Health Sciences
- Knowledge of principles and practices of Health Education
Monthly Salary Range:
TAX FREE Monthly Salary is AED 11,998Housing:First 29 days stay in Hotel while you look for accommodation. Help is provided Housing Allowance is AED 9,280 – 10,400 (single) or AED 9,280 – 11,600 (married)Health Insurance Coverage: Provided for Employee, Spouse and up to 3 children Annual Air Tickets: Airfare provided for the employee, spouse and up to 3 children Leave: Minimum 30 working days plus all National and holidays Dependant School Fees: Tuition of AED 80,000/- per annum per family (maximum AED 40,000 per child) when attending school in the UAEVisa & Medical Check Fees: Paid for the employee only. Employee is responsible for paying fees for dependents End Of Service Benefit: At the end of service, employee is eligible for a gratuity as per Labour Law (calculated as one month Basic salary for each year completed)
