Salary

The estimated basic salary of an English tutor in Dubai is 4,500 per month.

Role of an English Tutor

Some of the key duties of an English Tutor are the following.

  1. Assessing the student’s language tier and creating an individualized lesson strategy to address their specific needs
  2. Planning and preparing lesson materials and activities to improve the student’s reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities
  3. Conducting one-on-one or small class sessions with students to deliver lessons and provide feedback on their progress
  4. Identifying areas of weakness in the student’s language skills and providing targeted exercises and feedback to enhance those areas
  5. Assigning homework and providing feedback on the student’s work outside of class
  6. Observing the student’s progress and adjusting lesson plans and strategies as needed
  7. Incorporating technology and multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience
  8. Helping students prepare for exams such as TOEFL, IELTS, or other English mastery tests
  9. Evaluating the effectiveness of the teaching methods and adapting them to better meet the needs of the student
  10. Maintaining accurate records of student improvement and attendance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English.
  • Females are preferred for this position.
  • Age must be at least 35 – 55 years.
