Job Duties of a Domestic Helper

Some of the key duties of a Domestic Helper are the following.

  1. Cleaning and maintaining the household, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  2. Doing laundry, ironing, and folding clothes.
  3. Cooking and preparing feasts for the family.
  4. Grocery shopping and running chores.
  5. Taking care of children, including feeding, bathing, and playing with them.
  6. Taking care of pets, including feeding, walking, and grooming them.
  7. Cleaning and maintaining household devices, such as washing machines and refrigerators.
  8. Assisting with necessary household repairs and maintenance.
  9. Answering the phone and taking messages.
  10. Maintaining a tidy and systematized home environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • No work experience is required.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required except a high school certificate.
  • Candidates must be at least 24 years old.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this role.
