The Company
This company has been a market leader in their vertical for over 15 years in NZ. The company is part way through a major transformation and they are looking for a data warehouse developer, to work on some major projects. The team are operating very flexibly with a ‘make your own’ WFH policy whereby they have team members who work fully remote in more rural areas of New Zealand.
The Role
As the Data Warehouse Developer, you will be reporting to the Head of Engineering and will be within a team of 3 other developers/analysts. This role will be involved in optimizing their current data warehouse, and will be involved in a major transfer to a new platform. You will be using SQL, ETL and Data Warehouse experience and will ideally have a good understanding of those three.
Key Skills:
You’ll have some level of experience using;
- SQL to optimize queries
- ETL development
- Data warehouse performance monitoring/enhancing
- Visualization tools would be useful, but not required
- You will have a good attitude to learn
This is an intermediate level position, so experience in all of these areas is not essential – there is room to grow in this position.
