Role of a Data Entry Operator

Some of the key duties of a Data Entry Operator are the following.

  1. Entering data into computer systems or databases accurately and efficiently.
  2. Reviewing data for errors or inconsistencies and correcting them as needed.
  3. Maintaining accurate documents and confirming data is organized and accessible.
  4. Checking source documents for accuracy and completeness.
  5. Verifying data by comparing it to source documents.
  6. Responding to data inquiries from other employees or clients.
  7. Ensuring that confidentiality and security protocols are followed when handling sensitive data.
  8. Performing other clerical tasks as assigned, such as filing or copying documents.
  9. Keeping track of incoming and outgoing data requests and reports.
  10. Cooperating with other team fellows to improve data entry processes and procedures

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Both males and females can apply for this job.
  • Good Typing speed with knowledge of MS Office.
