Role of a Counter Clerk

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals, with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to join our new Post Office opening within our WHSmith High Street store.

  1. Customer Service: Counter clerks are responsible for greeting customers, answering inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. They may also be responsible for handling customer complaints and resolving issues.
  2. Cash Handling: Counter clerks may be responsible for handling cash, credit card transactions, and making changes. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records of transactions and ensuring that the cash drawer is balanced at the end of the shift.
