Job Description
About the role:
This fast paced and interesting role offers you the opportunity to utilise your experience working on a busy control room
You will be responsible for the safety of staff, visitors, residents and the general public through monitoring screens to deter security breaches.
- Monitor screens and CCTV to ensure assets are protected, to deter would-be offenders, to detect any signs of a security breach
- Respond to critical incidents and simultaneously prepare written reports
- Interact with key stakeholders including building management, emergency services, client representatives and security officers via phone, radio and intercom systems.
- Provide remote access to buildings via building access control systems
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a control room
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, Access Control systems)
Required qualifications:
- Certificate III in Security Operations
- Security licence; including Control Room endorsement
- Current First Aid
- Current drivers licence
