Cognizant is looking for a “AS400/Synon/Rxclaim Developer” for developing customized product for our clients. The role involves development of Rxclaim pricing module, Testing and design of functionality, Demo to business and coordinate with multiple teams.Assist team member. RX Claim familiarity will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities·
Lead the technical design and development of applications using AS/400 RPG, AS400/COBOL, Synon, and CLP· Oversee the implementation of system enhancements and new applications to meet business needs.· Provide technical expertise in the Medicare and Medicaid Claims, Claims, and Payer domains. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems.· Implement enhancements as per Software Development methodologies including Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Installation, Post implementation monitoring.·
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes and systems.· Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.·
Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables.· Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.· Manage and mentor junior developers to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
Required Qualifications·
5+ years of Lead/Developer experience in AS400 + Synon· STRONG Synon coding skills· Experience in RxCLAIM application ( Adjudication ) is STRONGLY PREFFERRED.· Should be able to read COBOL/400 code for analysis and debugging.· CLLE, CL/400, SQL/400 , QUERY/400 knowledge required.
