Salary
The basic salary package of an Ambulance driver is SAR 2,000 – 2,500 per month.
Role of an Ambulance Driver
Some of the significant responsibilities of an Ambulance Driver are the following.
- Operate an ambulance in a safe and responsible manner while transporting patients to medical facilities.
- Follow all traffic laws and rules to ensure the safety of patients, other drivers, and pedestrians.
- Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations and provide appropriate medical care to patients as required.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff, including emergency medical technicians (EMTs), to ensure the finest possible patient care.
- Ensure that the ambulance is properly stocked and equipped with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the ambulance to secure that it is in good working order.
- Complete paperwork and documentation related to patient care, including patient medical histories and treatment programs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and the medical team to provide updates on patient condition and transport progress.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when handling patients with infectious diseases or other potentially hazardous situations.
Eligibility Criteria
- 3 years of experience as Ambulance Driver is a must.
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in others or similar fields.
