Role of an Amazon DSP Driver

  1. Reading blueprints and measuring materials: Residential carpenters must be able to read and interpret blueprints and plans to determine the materials and tools needed for a project. They also need to measure and cut materials to the appropriate size.
  2. Building and installing structures: Carpenters build and install structures such as walls, floors, and roofs. This can include installing framing, laying subflooring, and installing insulation.
  3. Installing fixtures and finishes: Carpenters also install fixtures such as windows and doors, cabinets and countertops, and baseboards and trim. They also add finishing touches such as decorative moldings and trim.
  4. Repairing and maintaining structures: Carpenters are responsible for repairing and maintaining existing structures in a residential home, such as fixing a broken staircase or repairing a damaged doorframe.
  5. Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations: Residential carpenters must ensure that their work meets all building codes and regulations. This includes ensuring that all structures are structurally sound, safe, and meet local and national codes.
  6. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment: Carpenters use a variety of hand and power tools to complete their work. They are responsible for maintaining their tools and equipment and ensuring that they are safe to use

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical.
